Eiger North Face and landing on the glacier

With a glass of champagne or a cup of coffee, admire the imposing Petersgrat or Kanderfirn glacier.

We take off from Pfaffnau and head for Willisau, Entlebuch, Brienzer-Rothorn, Lake Brienz, Faulhorn and Grindelwald. The flight then continues to the Mittellegigrat along the impressive north face of the Eiger and Jungfrau. This flight from Bern-Belp airport includes an intermediate landing on the Petersgrat glacier.

The CABRI G2 is a small two-seat helicopter ideally suited to training.

Your instructor welcomes you to Épagny airfield. After a brief theory lesson on flight and aerodynamics, you’ll join your helicopter on the tarmac. Together with your instructor, you’ll take a technical tour, checking out some of the most important parts of the helicopter for your safety. A helicopter is more complex than any other aircraft, and requires special attention of its own. Then you take your place at the controls of your Cabri G2 helicopter. You are then given take-off clearance by the control tower. You activate the general pitch by gently pulling it upwards, and take off smoothly. Left turn on your axis and the helicopter initiation can begin.
