Canyoning in and around Switzerland

An intense aquatic adventure in the heart of nature

Canyoning in Switzerland offers a sporting, immersive and thrilling experience. This activity combines exploration, adrenaline and the discovery of spectacular landscapes. What’s more, it takes place in unspoilt and impressive natural environments.

Accessible and varied routes

Canyoning involves jumps, abseiling, slides and sometimes zip lines. However, only a normal level of fitness is required. No previous experience is necessary. Each participant progresses at their own pace, in complete safety.

Exceptional natural canyons

Swiss canyons feature narrow gorges, waterfalls and natural pools. The water has been sculpting the rock for thousands of years. These routes remain inaccessible without effort, which adds to the adventure.

An activity supervised by professionals

Swissraft has been offering canyoning in Switzerland since 1982. The company is a pioneer in the Viamala Gorge. Each outing is supervised by certified and experienced guides.

Safety, equipment and fun

Each participant wears a neoprene wetsuit, helmet and harness. In addition, the equipment complies with the strictest safety standards. The guides explain abseiling and jumping techniques. Finally, they accompany each group throughout the activity.
