From the Lodrino aerodrome in Ticino, you can choose to take an introductory flight on a CABRI G2 for a helicopter test flight.

The CABRI G2 is a helicopter with one passenger seat alongside the pilot. It’s perfect for training.

First, your instructor gives you a short theory lesson on helicopter flight. Then you go to the tarmac and take a technical tour of your helicopter with your instructor. Then you climb aboard and familiarize yourself with the controls.
Once you have received take-off clearance, you operate the general pitch with your left hand. Rotor rotation accelerates to 395 rpm and you take off smoothly. You’re hovering now, and you’re pushing lightly on the stick to move forward and accelerate.

Learn to fly a helicopter from Lodrino in Ticino on a COLIBRI EC120 with friends as passengers.

The COLIBRI EC120 is a helicopter with 4 passenger seats plus 1 pilot. You can take 3 people with you free of charge if you wish.

The introductory flight begins with a brief theory lesson on helicopter flight and aerodynamics. Then you’re all off to the tarmac to join your helicopter. Passengers take their seats. As for you, you take a technical tour with your helicopter instructor.
Then it’s your turn to climb aboard and take control of the helicopter.
You ask the control tower for take-off clearance. After receiving the OK, you use your left hand to operate the general pitch and accelerate rotor rotation. It reaches 395 rpm and you can take off by gently pulling the general pitch upwards. Now you’re hovering, and all you have to do is push the cyclic (the stick) slightly forward to pick up speed.
