Snowshoe trekking in Amden or elsewhere

Climbing summits in the company of a dog, an experience that unites man and animal in effort.

Guided by an experienced guide and musher, we make our way across the snow, our snowshoes crunching under our feet. The dogs pull and their breath gives rhythm to our progress. We make our way across the white expanses, admiring the magnificent scenery. At times, we stop to listen to the silence of nature. Then, resuming our walk, we are carried along by the energy of the dogs. Each paw brings us a little closer to our destination. The majestic mountains rise up before us, defying our determination. But with the help of our four-legged friends, nothing is impossible. The camaraderie that unites humans and animals creates an atmosphere of solidarity and harmony. Around midday we’ll stop for a delicious wood-fired fondue. Then we set off again, and together we climb each summit, overcoming the challenges that nature throws at us. And as the sun sets over the horizon, we savor the satisfaction of a day well spent, in the immensity of the wilderness.
