First, after a full safety briefing, you climb aboard your inflatable boats. The current is not strong and takes you towards adventure. Sometimes you sail on quieter sections and enjoy the natural beauty around you. After several kilometers, take a well-deserved break on the shore. Everyone brings a picnic and shares a convivial moment. Laughter and chatter have filled the air, as you regain your strength. After this break, you’re back on the Reuss, where a few rapids add a dose of adrenalin to this trip on the water. Finally, you arrive in Gebenstorf, happy and a little tired. Discover the pleasure of canoeing, or funyak, between Ilanz and Valendas. First of all, embark on the Anterior Rhine. Then get ready for the thrilling rapids. These rapids offer just the right amount of adrenalin. Then admire the spectacular scenery of the Swiss Grand Canyon. The imposing rock faces surround you, creating a unique setting. Paddle through impressive gorges. What’s more, your safety is our top priority. We provide you with a lifejacket, helmet and paddle. Our experienced guides will give you clear instructions before you set off. You quickly learn to manoeuvre your funyak. While paddling, you always remain under the attentive supervision of our guides. In addition, the rapids are class II to 3+, accessible to all. Finally, this unforgettable adventure combines adventure and tranquillity. Join us for an exceptional descent down the Rhine. A unique experience in the heart of nature.

Swissraft offers four other canoe and funyak routes on the Rhine.

You can take a funyak down the Rhine from Ilanz to Reichenau for an adventurous day out, or Versam to Reichenau for a funyak classic. Further downstream from the Rhine Falls, there are two routes to choose from: Schaffhausen – Rheinau, a half-day trip, or Schaffhausen – Rüdlingen, a full-day canoe trip. On the Reuss, the half-day trips from Bremgarten to Mellingen, from Mellingen to Gebenstorf and the Bremgarten – Gebenstorf day trip are outstanding. In Valais, on the Rhone, the Chippis to St. Gallen section has been completed. Léonard is the perfect descent for adventure-seeking children accompanied by their parents. But there’s another, more eventful section on the Rhone between Souste and Sierre. A 26 kms Easy Rafting trip down the Aare River

Between Thun and Bern, your students will have plenty of time to chat with each other and swim in the Aare. An excellent choice for a school trip

During your school outing, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable experience: Easy rafting on the Aare. First of all, your guide welcomes you to Schwäbis/Thun. After a safety briefing, you climb aboard a large raft. Each participant is equipped with a life jacket and paddle. The adventure begins in the direction of Bern, the federal capital. The water is calm at the start, allowing us to get used to Easy rafting. The current then accelerates slightly, making the descent more exciting.
All along the way, the scenery is magnificent. The surrounding mountains and charming riverside villages will beckon. Sometimes you catch up with other rafts or canoes, which adds to the convivial atmosphere of this trip down the Aare.
Finally, after around three hours of pleasure, you reach the entrance to Bern. You disembark just before the Dalmazi bridge on the left bank, close to the Swiss Alpine Museum. This half-day was the perfect adventure, combining relaxation, fun and nature discovery.

For a sporty yet fun activity, Swissraft offers river descents for schools that are adapted to the age of the pupils.
