Your instructor and pilot welcomes you to our dropzone at Écuvillens airfield. First you do a few exercises to learn how to behave during the jump. Then we’ll give you protective goggles, a helmet and possibly a suit. It’s normal to be a little nervous. Your worries fade as soon as you enter the plane with your pilot. He has a few thousand jumps under his belt, and that’s reassuring. On the way up, admire the panoramic view of the Fribourg Pre-Alps. After about 20 minutes of ascent, it’s time for the big jump into the void. You approach the aircraft door. Your pilot performs a final check before propelling you out of the aircraft. You experience an impressive freefall of around 50 seconds, during which you get an adrenalin rush like no other.
