From Granges aerodrome, you can opt for an introduction to the ROBINSON RH44.

The ROBINSON RH44, identified by the chimney on the airframe, is a helicopter designed to accommodate three passengers in addition to the pilot. For this adventure, one passenger can climb aboard free of charge with you, the pilot.

First, your instructor gives a brief theory lesson on the principles of helicopter flight. Then, together, you head for the helicopter parked on the tarmac. A technical inspection of the unit is carried out, focusing on essential components. Once the checks have been successfully completed, you climb aboard and take the controls. After receiving take-off clearance from the control tower, you use your left hand to regulate the overall pitch, turning the rotor faster and faster before taking off. Initially hovering, you gradually adjust the control stick to gain horizontal speed and move forward.

We offer helicopter flying courses from Bern-Belp airport, as well as from Speck-Fehraltorf airfield in the canton of Zurich. We also organize introductory helicopter flights from Épagny en Gruyère, in the canton of Fribourg. In addition, introductory helicopter flights are available from Buttwil airfield in Canton Aargau, and from Pfaffnau heliport in Canton Lucerne. For those located in Liechtenstein, we offer training sessions at Balzers heliport. In addition, we offer helicopter introductory courses from Sitterdorf airfield in eastern Switzerland, and helicopter introductory flights from St. Moritz heliport.
