Rafting in the Bernese Oberland

In the Bernese Oberland, the Lutschine and Simme rivers promise exciting rafting adventures. This activity, known as riverrafting, is carried out in teams aboard specially designed inflatable boats.

The Rhône is a turbulent river with many rapids, perfect for those in search of an adrenalin rush. Despite the hair-raising waves, the experience is well worth it. In fact, enjoy the Lutschine during the summer months, as September 15 is the last day allowed. The Lutschine at Interlaken is slightly fuller-bodied than the Simme. Moreover, it is only accessible to those aged 14 and over. On the other hand, you can go rafting on the Simme from May to the end of September. Enjoy the melting glaciers at altitude and experience a refreshing adventure.

Riverrafting attracts adventure and thrill-seekers. The Swiss Alps offer a variety of routes in several cantons and in neighbouring France. Firstly, inflatable boats guarantee intense moments in the rapids. Secondly, participants receive full equipment. You’ll be equipped with a vest, helmet, paddle, wetsuit and neoprene booties. In bad weather, we provide a windbreaker. Wear synthetic underwear to keep out the cold.
