You’ll use your imagination and know-how to build a raft, and have all the necessary skills. You’re awakening the scout and adventurer in you that’s been buried for too long. Share a unique experience with others in a spirit of fun and solidarity.
Before launching, you’ll be equipped with a lifejacket and a paddle. Depending on the season, you can sail in a swimsuit or shorts with a t-shirt. For your comfort and to keep out the cold, you don’t wear woollen garments.
You’ll then play a few games, such as a duck hunt, and finish the activity with an aperitif on the water. Also in water if you wish. To do this, we group all the rafts together and fasten them to each other to create a large platform. You can build a raft anywhere in Switzerland.
Switzerland’s lakes are an ideal playground for raft building. Swissraft has two conveniently located bases on Lake Lucerne. One in Lucerne on the Lido beach, the other in Weggis on Lake Lucerne.
Our rafts are of modern design and are certified and registered for lake navigation only. Your task is to build a wooden structure and attach it to two catamaran-like floats. Then you climb onto the raft, which easily supports a dozen people.

Enjoy a beautiful day on Lake Maggiore in Ascona, near the port in Ticino

Building rafts in the Maggia delta between Locarno and Ascona on Lake Maggiore. You build your rafts on a public beach between the village of Ascona and the port. It takes teamwork, imagination and meticulousness to build a raft. Everything is in place to make your day a total success. Once you’ve finished building the rafts, you can take on the other teams in a friendly competition. There’s also a fun duck hunt.
