A 26 kms Easy Rafting trip down the Aare River

Between Thun and Bern, your students will have plenty of time to chat with each other and swim in the Aare. An excellent choice for a school trip

During your school outing, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable experience: Easy rafting on the Aare. First of all, your guide welcomes you to Schwäbis/Thun. After a safety briefing, you climb aboard a large raft. Each participant is equipped with a life jacket and paddle. The adventure begins in the direction of Bern, the federal capital. The water is calm at the start, allowing us to get used to Easy rafting. The current then accelerates slightly, making the descent more exciting.
All along the way, the scenery is magnificent. The surrounding mountains and charming riverside villages will beckon. Sometimes you catch up with other rafts or canoes, which adds to the convivial atmosphere of this trip down the Aare.
Finally, after around three hours of pleasure, you reach the entrance to Bern. You disembark just before the Dalmazi bridge on the left bank, close to the Swiss Alpine Museum. This half-day was the perfect adventure, combining relaxation, fun and nature discovery.

If you want more action for your class, choose rafting or riverrafting. For example, on the Rhine between Ilanz and Reichenau, one of Switzerland’s most beautiful courses in Graubünden. But also in French-speaking Switzerland in the Pays d’Enhaut on the Sarine between Saanen and Les Moulins near Château d’Ôex. We also offer rafting trips down the Simme from Boltigen and down the Lutschine from Interlaken. As for Valais, we offer riverrafting on 3 beautiful rivers: the Rhône, the Viège and the Dranse de Bagnes.
