Introduction to helicopter flight begins with a short video on helicopter handling. Then your instructor explains what VFR flight is, i.e. visual flight. Then you prepare your flight plan according to your desired take-off point.
You now take your place in the helicopter with your instructor. It explains all the screens and switches. The exercises teach you how to keep your helicopter hovering, pivot on its axis and move sideways. During all these maneuvers, your instructor will be close by to guide you and correct you if necessary. The Grand Mythen peaks at 1898 m and the Petit Mythen at 1811 m. The Mythen massif is the absolute symbol of Canton Schwyz.
