We start our canoe trip at Ilanz, on the Anterior Rhine. Before long, we’re paddling through breathtaking scenery. The clear waters sparkle in the sunlight. From time to time, we come across some exciting rapids. The thrills are there for the taking.
Along the way, we admire the natural beauty of the Rhine Gorge – you’re in the Swiss Grand Canyon. The rock faces rise majestically around us. Then we decide to take a break in Versam. A perfect spot for a picnic or barbecue.
We disembark on a small pebble beach. We then set up camp for lunch. Grills crackle over the fire. The delicious aroma wafts through the air. Meanwhile, some of us are exploring the surrounding area. Others simply relax by the water. After our break, we resume our descent by canoe. The river continues to meander between the cliffs. The currents carry us gently towards Reichenau. Along the way, we enjoy the peace and serenity of the area. Finally, we reach Reichenau. The satisfaction of having accomplished this descent fills us. We share our impressions, delighted by this adventure. The memories of this day will stay with us for a long time. This experience on the Anterior Rhine is a must.
