Canoeing or Funyak between Ilanz and Reichenau on the Rhine is a sporty activity, supervised by professional guides.<\/h2>\n

We make a picnic or BBQ stop along the way during the day.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

We start our canoe trip at Ilanz, on the Anterior Rhine. Before long, we’re paddling through breathtaking scenery. The clear waters sparkle in the sunlight. From time to time, we come across some exciting rapids. The thrills are there for the taking.
\nAlong the way, we admire the natural beauty of the Rhine Gorge – you’re in the Swiss Grand Canyon. The rock faces rise majestically around us. Then we decide to take a break in Versam. A perfect spot for a picnic or barbecue.
\nWe disembark on a small pebble beach. We then set up camp for lunch. Grills crackle over the fire. The delicious aroma wafts through the air. Meanwhile, some of us are exploring the surrounding area. Others simply relax by the water. After our break, we resume our descent by canoe. The river continues to meander between the cliffs. The currents carry us gently towards Reichenau. Along the way, we enjoy the peace and serenity of the area. Finally, we reach Reichenau. The satisfaction of having accomplished this descent fills us. We share our impressions, delighted by this adventure. The memories of this day will stay with us for a long time. This experience on the Anterior Rhine is a must.<\/p>\n

We offer four other canoe and funyak routes on the Rhine.<\/h3>\n

\nYou can take the Funyak down the Anterior Rhine from Ilanz to Valendas, a half-day adventure. You can also enjoy the classic canoe trip between Versam and Reichenau. Further downstream from the Rhine Falls, two routes are available: Schaffhausen – Rheinau, a half-day trip, or Schaffhausen – R\u00fcdlingen, a full-day canoeing trip. On the Reuss, the half-day trips from Bremgarten to Mellingen, from Mellingen to Gebenstorf and the Bremgarten – Gebenstorf day trip are also very popular. In Valais, on the Rhone, the Chippis to St. Gallen section has been completed. L\u00e9onard is the perfect descent for families and their children in search of adventure. A sportier section between Souste and Sierre, and a must-do if you like action. And in Ticino, the Funyak route from Cresciano to Gorduno gives you a Mediterranean feel.\n<\/p>\n
