Pontirone canyoning in Ticino, short but great! Canyoning in the lower Pontirone at Biasca takes about an hour and a half. On the other hand, this is a demanding canyon, with an environment of granite boulders. It’s also known as the Pontirone, the little sister of the legendary Lodrino.
The tour begins with impressive rock-climbing passages between gigantic granite boulders. Then abseil from a height of 40m down a waterfall to enter the bowels of the canyon. A real grotto of rare beauty, combined with jumps, slides and abseiling. The canyon ends in a rift into which the sun never penetrates.
